Your members' playlist. Every platform.
IMNZ compiles the latest independent Aotearoa tracks into a playlist on behalf of members — today, that lives on Spotify. This is what your Charts page could look like with a MixMates embed: the same playlist, open in Spotify, Tidal or Apple Music, from a single iframe.
Why this matters for IMNZ
A Spotify-only playlist reaches Spotify listeners. But your members' audiences are on Tidal, on Apple Music, on YouTube Music — and right now each of them meets a link they can't use in the library they actually listen in. The curation is IMNZ's; the music should reach everyone.
MixMates routes the same playlist to whichever streamer the listener prefers. Independent artists get discovered where people already are — not only where the embed happens to point.
How the embed stays current
You and your team keep adding tracks to the MixMates group as the charts move each week. The embed re-renders on every page load — no manual republishing, no dead links.
Tag tracks by chart, week or genre and each tag gets its own embed URL, so one group can carry every playlist IMNZ runs. NZ Musician shipped this exact pattern in May 2026 for their issue playlists.
Getting started
This is a one-off demo, not a pitch deck — Jamie at MixMates (jamie@mixmat.es) built it because the IMNZ playlist is too good to be locked to one app.
The next step is simple: sign up to MixMates on the Paid+ plan. It's $7 a month — amazing value for the time it saves and the benefits that flow to your members. Once you're signed up, we'll transfer everything we've built here straight into your new account, so you start from a working page rather than a blank one.
Happy to do a 30-minute online session walking you through how it all works — though it's intuitive enough that you probably won't need long. Reply whenever you're ready.
